The Madison County Genealogical Society is rapidly gathering obituaries and listing those available. These obituaries are being garnered from newspapers, on-line sources, funeral homes, etc, and will vary from full in-depth obituaries to very simple death announcements.
Our goal is to help our members by providing them any obituaries they need, and to do it at no cost, if possible (via e-mail or web access). If there is a cost, it should be no more than the cost of printing or mailing the obituary. If possible, we will also support nonmembers requesting an obituary from the local area. Member or not, if you need an obituary and want us to try to locate it for you, please contact us at MCGenealogySociety@live.com. Also, if you have an obituary that you would be willing to make available to us, it would be most greatly appreciated.
